Carriers

What if my carrier won't write FR44 after a high-BAC DUI?

A lot of national carriers will not write a new Florida FR44, and a high BAC makes that list longer. Geico saying no is not unusual.

We've talked to people who spent a week calling household names and heard the same answer. The FR44 still has to be 100/300/50, and it still has to be filed with the DHSMV. You need a company that will actually bind that product, not a cookie cutter quote site that collects your number and disappears.

Cost varies. We will not invent a monthly premium. We shop 15+ carriers that still write this, show you owner versus non-owner, and file electronically the same day you purchase. Confirmation on the state side can lag, so we do not pretend the license prints in the same hour.

Still need an answer for your own case?

Every FR44 situation has details a page can't cover. Tell us yours and we'll shop it across our carriers and file the same day you buy.
