Does DUI school replace the FR44 filing in Florida?

No. DUI school does not replace the FR44.

Florida treats those as different boxes. School is education. The FR44 is proof you carry 100/300/50, filed electronically with the DHSMV by your insurance company. You can finish school and still be suspended if the certificate is missing. We've talked to people who thought the school receipt was the whole reinstatement. Then they got to the counter and the insurance piece was still open.

We handle the insurance filing. We shop 15+ carriers, we bind a qualifying policy, and we file the same day you purchase. We do not enroll you in school and we do not collect the state's reinstatement fees.

If your notice lists both, do both. Filing same day still does not mean the DHSMV screen updates that hour.

Still need an answer for your own case?

Every FR44 situation has details a page can't cover. Tell us yours and we'll shop it across our carriers and file the same day you buy.
